Felt Seal for Hub on Land Rover Series 3 (Comes as an Individual Seal) (Part Number RTC3515)

For the wheel hub of a Land Rover Series 3, there are two different parts that might be referred to as a "felt seal," depending on where on the hub you are working.
While the main hub oil seal was originally felt on older models, it was largely replaced by rubber (nitrile) or leather versions for the Series 3 to provide a better seal against oil.

Felt Oil Seal    
RTC3515    The felt ring located behind the drive flange on the outside of the hub.

Hub Oil Seal
RTC3510    The main seal on the inner side of the hub. Modern versions are usually rubber.

Distance Piece    
599698    The metal ring (runner) that the seal sits on; often worn and requires replacement if leaking.
